What's Lloyd Owusu up to these days?

Without Owusu, Slade is just another struggling league manager.
Without Slade, Owusu is just another journeyman footballer.

Together, it's like Batman and Robin.

amazes me how Slade can take over at a struggling team halfway or later in a season and manage to transform the team, but when starting the beginning of a season doesnt seem to have a clue!!

I was thinking much the same. I wonder if the stat's would back up our thoughts though?

Doesn't really apply to his spell at Orient though does it, as he kept them up, then had last season to transform the team and magnificently got them to 7th.

All gone tits up now though after missing out on the play-offs.

Thanks for that M. My being wrong about it doesn't surprise me in the least!

Doesn't look too good for Russ though, although I certainly hope he manages to turn things round at Orient (& pronto). He'll always be a star in my eyes - for miraculously keeping us out of the depths of League 2 when we appeared to be without a prayer. I know it's merely conjecture, but I don't think Gus would've been keen on the job had we not stayed up at that time.
Funny old game ain't it?

Decent bloke and first rate troubleshooter but does seem to struggle in the long term, although he was seemingly hard done by at Yeovil.

I'd agree with that. I'm fairly sure Gus wouldn't have applied for a League 2 club.

Think he's doing a great job. before the season started the chairman was shouting he's mouth off about what they were going to do, couldn't happen to a nicer club.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
