Never forgot how different he sounded in interviews on the day of the start of the season after he had kept us up,sounded totally different,normal,no passion or desire-he appears to be a fire fighter like red Adair.

Will be gone before next weekend's game I reckon. Hearn won't tolerate their start even though they massively over-achieved last season. Shame as really nice, decent bloke and will always be grateful for him keeping us up but shows Tony did the right thing (and then some!!) even though it seemed a bit harsh at the time.

amazes me how Slade can take over at a struggling team halfway or later in a season and manage to transform the team, but when starting the beginning of a season doesnt seem to have a clue!!
