Some people just don't cut it as a comedian....in Mock the Week he is totally outclassed and shown up for what he is...one of those comedians who people laugh out of politeness with. It makes me fume.

Has anyone else noticed his nervous twitch? He kinda squints his eyes every couple of seconds which makes it very difficult to look at his face.

IMHO he is not the best but is nowhere near the worst comedian on TV. Problem is that he has used most of his material on MTW so most comedy fans have already heard his jokes.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
He says "imagine this..." all the time and "what if this happened:..." before entering into some VIth form college routine about a whacky boy who collects ants and sticks them on celebrity photos to make sure they have slightly wriggly moustaches or eyebrows of intention. Rubbish.
It's lazy comedy and he seems mostly like a nice-but-unfunny dickhead i'd do my best not to see in real life at all.

I think he is quite funny, went to see the pilot of his show and the stuff he did off camera was much better than the stuff he filmed

I find him quite funny myself.

Jo Brand is the worst comedian ever anyway, sexist hore.

Completely agree, he is not in the same class as the others on that show, and neither is the bald guy, Ed Parsons. That programme would be much better with David Mitchell and Michael McIntyre as regular panelists instead of those two, and Ed Byrne who is superb.

The thing that annoys me about Russell Howard most, is how often he tells the same stupid and humourless jokes. Yawn rape....

Andy Parsons. Personally I find him very funny, and absolutely cannot stand McIntyre. But we agree on Russell Howard! He just constantly says "can you imagine if..." and talks about some sort of mildy odd scenario.

Oh yeah, I apperared to invert Andy Parsons and Ed Byrne! Mr Parsons was good on You're Fired last series, but I thought he was truly shocking in his appearance on Live at the Apollo. Russell Howard, however, is just a bit bland and safe for my liking, though I agree with him that people are far too serious and need to lighten up. I just don't like his sense of humour.

i don't think he's that bad.
i mean his new show is dreadfull.
and on MTW he is outclassed by Hugh Dennis and Frankie Boyle.
but apart from that he's great.
