The thing is, fans always throw around accusations of players being greedy and selfish when these things happen, but sometimes it's a bit more complicated than that. If you don't have a proper wage structure in place, and a new owner comes in, it's a recipe for discord.

Underperforming players on big contracts since the new owner, or overperforming players on smaller contracts since the new owner, and you get resentment. This is what happened to us in the days of Sir Garry Nelson and I wouldn't be surprised if something like this has happened since these relatively new owners took owner there.

It's the sort of thing you might expect at a bobbins noveau riche club with no real class, so no surprise if it was happening at Wednesday.
