I know the general view of this site but son tells me that somebody has posted that a 'reliable source at the club' has told him that Gus is in talks again with Newcastle and West Ham to bring in a striker on loan , which wasn't possible during the transfer window due to injuries at both clubs.

Is this striker shortage going to rear its head again.

I would say so, yes. Mainly because that site is attempting to be bang up to date by posting new rubbish about as many clubs as possible, every day. The Sunday red tops only have to print rubbish once a week. I think when something is in print, there's something to it. Not every time, but there'll actually be some form of reason for them to suggest it. The website is for bored people to link their club with whoever.

For example, I'm tempted to go on there and link us to Britt Assombalonga, because his name is glorious and he's scoring goals for Southend, on loan from Watford.

My sauce only told me this today! I read it about 2 seconds ago actually so it's nice and fresh, in print (kind of). I'm going to go and tell my brother that my Brighton sauce said we're linked with him on the internet. If he reads NSC and sees the same or even better that you have put it on the rumours site, he can post it somewhere else that he's had it from 2 sauces and by morning it will be everywhere
