I for one am a very excitable Brighton fan, therefore whenever i hear the 'were about to sign someone for 3M but im not telling you who' i get hugely excited.

I appreciate those who know more than others and do actually have reliable sources post what they know on here, however sometimes people are just on a wind up.

I propose that should those who wish to post these rumours that are just wind ups and bullshit be shot

You'll find that most of the people on here that are in the know, can't be arsed to post anymore and just keep it to themselves. Also since Dick (massage my ego please) Knight moved on, a lot of peoples contacts were cut, as Tony Bloom isn't the sort to tell everyone how great he is, and what he's doing, unlike Dick who'd tell anyone who would listen what was going on. Sure people still have ways and links, but don't bother posting any more because of the abuse.

You'll will also find that most people who claim to know someone who works at the club, and was told by them, actually know f*** all in the terms of transfers. Hundreds "work" for Brighton, and very few know anything until the rest of us.

Luckerly for me my contact is still in place, and I heard some very interesting things, and dont think people will be disappointed come August. Even when I called a fews years back the Adams, Slade sackings in the week before they happened, the Coppell link which some still like to think never happen, and other managerial gossip, I still got abuse.

I would take any rumour on here with a pinch of salt, and just wait for the club to announce signings. Its less fun, but less hassle as well!

But the only top scorer list he'll end on next season will be the stiffs. One striker brought. One striker/winger brought. 2 more strikers on the way..... don't look good for ASh does it. 4th, 5th choice maybe? Maybe Poyet doesn't rate him either, and only played him because there was no one else last season..... Or maybe Barnes will be the number one striker and the other 3/4 including at LEAST two million pound men will battle it out to play with him...........................

I think we've been there with this haven't we. Not worth chriping up now cocker!! Should have had your say when the other thread was still live. In your opinion he made me look a mug, in my opinion he only played because he was the best of a bad crop(no surprise after Murray went he was the only contracted striker at the club) and Micky Mouse could have scored a hatful in that team given the run he had. if we had the strikers we now have last year, Peter Wards record will be no more, and if ASh was good enough, a) he'd have broken it himself, and b) Poyet wouldn't be signing enough dstrikers to push him down to possibly 5th choice. And lets not forget, Poyet tried to sign strikers last season, which would have seen AShley pushed down the pecking order then, so I think even Lord Poyet doesn't think he's good enough otherwise he wouldn't have played a 19 year old loanee and still tried to sign more strikers would he?

Anyway get back on topic. If you want to open this old debate up, start a thread, I've still got plenty to say on it

And you are the sort of TWAT I was referring to, and why a lot of people dont post what they know. You only signed on last year, so probably missed what a lot of the "bigger boys" used to talk about. Dont want you to look at me, I couldn't give a f***, and I dont make i open ended guesses. If could guess Adams would go a few days before it was announced, and then follow it with Slade, to name but two I would be the NSC betting king. But you will note I dont start any threads like this any more, purely down to f***ing idiots like you.

There will be players lined up now who the club think will sign, and then pull out late on. If someone posts it before the deal collespes they get grief from wankers like you, and that's the point I am making, and which is why nearly all those that have decent info, just dont bother to post on here anymore.
