In Rugby its normal at line-ups for players to lift their team mates to get a height advantage. Is this illegal in football at say corners and free kicks.

I would think that this would count as dangerous play. Good question though.

Unless a team has a player capable of delivering set pieces with incredible accuracy, the effect of attempting this ploy would be to take two players out of the game. I can't see any advantage coming from it.

That would be brilliant, with added bonus comedy if the set piece taker drills the ball at the wall and sends one of the guys on top flying to the ground in spectacular fashion

The top comedy has to be aiming at the balls of one of the guys at the bottom sending the guy at the top crashing to the floor?
