I notice QPR are allowed to have their hoops on the back of their shirts but if you have stripes it has to be a plain back...........how is that? That rule is just sillilly stupid:mad:

Its a myth that striped shirts have to have a plain back - they dont. Rules are that the number has to be visible to the officials - not the name though

I thought it was for uefa competitions that the striped shirts needed a panel? I remember southampton a few years ago having a european shirt with a plan back.

As we buy our kits of errea and they use a tenplate design we are governed by their adoption of italian/uefa regs unless we are prepared to pay for our own template.

Ah okay that clears that up then. Thought this was a new rule set in stone. Can i have my banana now please

Brentford have stripes at back - their 1st team as well as reserves, although latter have no name, as shown in match at Albion reserves recently:
