nope i;'m with you on this one. he's one of my favourite artists, seen him a few times and have all of his music.

I think he's great. Lovely big, lush overblown orchestral arrangements and some nice chords. He's never struck me as a 'tortured soul' at all - his live shows are usually very jovial affairs.
