What a load of miserable people you are. They went to see Albion's Football in the community work, without which the Amex wouldn't have been built, as BHA couldn't afford any land to build a stadium on. As for not doing any work, they have launched a new RNLI lifeboat in Pevency, then went to the AMEX, then Brighton College, then they are going to a fundraising dinner for the Friends of Brighton Pavilion tonight. How much work have you done today?

There is not a single derogatory remark about Seagulls in the community on this thread and well you know it. The good work of this group deserves every bit of recognition and publicity it gets and more. I hope the lovely couple don't wear themselves out with all that driving and that they are back in time to cook tea for the kids.

The Royal visit included calling into the AITC organised Powerchair Football Tournament in the sports hall next to the Amex. Eight teams were taking part including one from Chailey Heritage, a team of ex-Albion players, three from American Express and the Albion's own Powerchair team, who play in the National Championship. I don't normally have much time for Royalty but the Prince and his wife seemed genuinely interested and took the time to meet every team and speak to just about everyone. The whole event was a great success, with the highlight for many being a team including Tony Bloom and Dick Kinght getting thrashed by the winning BHA Powerchair team!Another triumph for AITC.

Hats off to Tony and Dick. They took their 10-0 in good form. A good day out, BHA Powerchair team had a good day, AITC had a good day, the club had a good day, charity raised some money towards a new chair, Tony and Dick had a good day, and our club kept up its continued high profile. All topped off with a Royal vist. Not sure what there is to complain about.
