Their old pub is just up the road from your picture. It's now called The Green Beret on Canada Road. Just opposite the pub is the last wall of the church that served the barracks.

Although surrronded by modern houses, it is a quite beautiful and peaceful spot.

We was wondering what the church wall was all about.

My mum lives in Deal and she said she felt very uneasy in the Green Beret proper mans pub apparently
