As someone born and bred in Brighton, at a push parts of Hastings, Bristol and even Plymouth look a bit like back street Brighton. But it should be filmed in Btn.

It's worth reading the books in order.
I reckon they're written in a style that would be easy to convert to a screen play, lots of short chapters used to maintain the pace. Would be like scenes
