At the last game at the Goldstone,I was standing in the East terrace right near the Donny fans and there were plenty of absolute gobby twats in there.I hate to spoil the love-in, but they are bloody northerners after all.

If they sold say 1500 do you think the club would still segregate? Obviously you'll lose some seats in segregation but this would leave 500 - 800 or so extra seats for our fans to enjoy the big day?!

Not possible I'm afraid.

are people serious about the potential to let fans mix on the concourse? theres probably 15+ teams in the champs with lads who if travel will cause trouble and go looking for it. cant see it happening

Not disagreeing, but any chance you could say why it's not, or even how it's done when we do segregate?

The concourse is spilt 50/50 by a metal shutter, both sides have gents and ladies toliets and pies/beer. From each concourse there is one vomitory leading to the seats. If they were to split the seats, say, 75/25 then the away fans would be able to go down the vomitory into the home fans half of the concourse.

Understood.

Is there not any discretion as to where the dividing tar-pooling could be placed? It could for example be placed bang in the centre of the stand, or it could be placed adjacent to one of the aisles. I've no idea how wide the tar-pooling is, but moving it adjacent to an aisle, rather than central in the stand could easily make a couple of hundred extra seats for either the home or away fans.... Or an I wrong?

Any idea how many seats are lost when the division is made?

lol Your probably right Seagull us bloody Northeners can be gobby unlike you southern softies of course.:lolol::lolol:

Seen as though the vast majority of Rovers fans are staying for the weekend,i would expect plenty will be out on Saturday night..We tried a few bb's before we got sorted and when the landlady knew we were a group of lads she asked us if we were coming down for the parade the following week.lol

See youv'e signed young Lua lua,a bit raw when he was on loan with us but certainley looked to have a lot of potential..

Where do you see yourself finishing this year, its a tough old league i reckon about lower/mid table for both of us..

They can move it a little bit but the furthest you are allowed to be from an aisle is half a block width so there is not much to play with. If Donny sold 1250 exactly then we could have the other half (less segregation). No idea how much is needed for segregation.

Got ya, so basically when segregating, the decision is to whether it's the home or away half that loses a couple of hundred seats in the process.

So, it could mean the South stand could be either:-

2500 away fans
1250 away fans, 1000 home fans
1000 away fans, 1250 home fans

That's assuming 250 lost seats segregating.

Without sounding cocky, I think we will get auto promotion. Not sure about you lot, got a bad feeling, but hope you do OK

Wow thats confidence for you, going to be hard with the parachute payment clubs and the likes of Leicester throwing millions about, there are no easy games in this league either, think you will do well but automatic might be pushing it..

Dont be fooled by our poor position last year,we were about 9th at xmas before we had the biggest injury crisis ive ever seen at Rovers in 30 years, all were long term as well..We tried to have games called off and we had a run of about ten games were we played 3 left backs at once with only 2 of our 1st choice team playing, it was very odd...Even now the likes of woods, stock, martis, chambers,o conner wont make our game and all would normally start, however most will be back by Sept at least..

Holding on to Sharp will be key for us,we reluctantely accepted 3.25mill from Saints but he didnt want to go but news today Birmingham and Wigan now sniffing...
