Potter came into this round with 4 wins on the trot, outthinking the opposing coach

Potter 1 Pep multi Champions League winner 0
Potter 1 Bielsa Intergalactic Champion 0
Potter 1 Parker 0
Potter 1 Mourinho the Special One 0

And now Potter vs Klopp?

This means that us versus Burnley at the weekend is for the club championship of the world, shirley? We've both just beat the best side in the world, with apologies to Leeds and Wednesday, obvs.

Exactly, who knows what kind of team a Cat will put out? They are considered selfish animals so I’m sure potter will have a plan and even a win by a Whiskas will be acceptable

Worth a bounce I thought. The likes of Klopp and Guardiola have known for sometime we have a bit of genius on our hands, longer than many of our fans.

There’s no histrionics from Potter, either before or after games. 2 nil down he trusts his team. 2-2 after the final whistle he compliments his team. It’s like he hasnt done much. However…

The spirit and belief he has built since arriving is now reaping long overdue rewards. 2-0 down at Anfield - you go into damage limitation don’t you - not trying to win the game!

Of course it’s not all the manager, players are playing with confidence and trust each other. They’re being brave, that only comes with belief in each other.

It really is looking a bit like the season we’ve been very much hoping for.
