Until we get lucky with a cheap lower league striker or a decent loan striker we will continue to struggle. No way is Bloom going to pay the going rate for a top Championship striker and the chances are he wouldn't want to come here even if he did.

Inept - pathetic and its not Hyypia's fault

But a large part of this season does rest with him and others as well. Let's not try and change history, his tactics were shocking.

Hughton has inherited the same crock of shite, and improved it no end. We are still rubbish, but it could be much, much worse.

Why do we give mangers long contracts for and only offer players 1 year contracts. It would of been better to give Houghton a 1 year rolling contract so we could get rid instead of having him for another 3 seasons as I'd hate the same football next season.

I am dreading Friday ..a thrashing? And the racket Bournemouth fans will make in that South stand at the end of the game
I am not coming down for the game, moving house,.... but if it goes against us, I dont want to see any of that partying with the B'muff fans after the game like they did on Friday,........ dont you lot dare.

So am I now. Honestly thought we would have had this done and dusted now, been 13 points clear, so we could go in the Bournemouth match with no pressure.

Murray was our top goal scorer and we decided to not offer same terms as a club who had half the size gates as us (palace) as somehow they could afford it and we couldn't or wouldnt because some genius decided to spend £2 Million in transfer fees for CMS. If we will shoot ourselves in the foot like that then what can we expect but failure?

The club had to decide if Murray was going to be any good in The Championship or bring in a player who had previous experience at that level who would prove to knock the goals in. Would you buy a packet of Lidl Jaffa cakes at Waitrose prices if a packet of Asda Jaffa Cakes looks more tasty ?

Hyypia had to deal with a squad full of strangers and a bigger crock of shite. Any manager would have struggled this season and Hughton has proved that.

Maybe, but where is this famed and expensive development squad? If the strikers in it cant force their way into this side then they must either be garbage or the coaches down the Albion don't know one end of a striker from another. If the DS strikers cant be smashing down the door of this side then they might as well pack up football and do something else.

Or a player who worked brilliantly in the system Gus played or a player who didn't set the world alight in his season in the Championship?

the midfield 3 Ince Kayal and Stephens
(which many seem to feel are automatic promotion material)
are not going to contribute many assists and goals
we are going to have to get lucky in forward recruitment
because we need a brand new front three to both create and score the goals
