Stockdale 6: could be argued he possibly could have done better for the goal but from six yards it would be a tough call. Kept us in it second half with two excellent saves.
Bennett 4: Struggled when defending, offside when we had one good chance in second half.
Bruno 5: The pick of a grim performance from the back four
Dunk 3: Turned and left for dead when they scored
Halford 4: Long throws okay, too many long aimless balls when had it to feet
Ince 4: Couple of tackles but passed back or sideways when had the ball, and not always to an Albion player
Kaz 4: Winger rarely seen on the wing
Caroyal 3: Forgettable, from the Leon Best school of commitment
Kayal 7: The only player who gave his all, ran at defenders, but blew our best chance
Stevens 4: Showed unerring accuracy at picking out their keeper from free kicks. Took laconic to a new level
O'Grady 5: Given scraps to feed off and no support.
Subs
Best 4: Pouted a bit, won the odd ball
CMS 3: Sadly his confidence is shot, has the composure of a brick wall
Tex 5: We looked better when he came on, but why leave it so late?

Stockdale - 7. Not too much to do. Distribution reliable and worldy pass onto cog's chest in the first half.
Bennett - 4. Some decent footwork, but at fault for the first goal.
Bruno - 5. Some clever passing but defensively vulnerable.
Dunk - 5. Mostly solid but at fault for goal also.
Halford - 4. A useful physical presence but some inexcusable wayward passes
Kayal - 7. One of the most lively players. Created his one on one well but fluffed his lines with only the keeper to beat.
Ince - 6. A lot came through him, and good at dispossession, but movement and passing accuracy let him down
Stevens - 4. anonymous
Lua Lua - 7. Arguably our best player. Usual effort and enthusiasm to beat players. Most creative in the first half
O'Grady - 5. Held the ball up well, but unable to play clever passes through to others
Carayol - 6. Saw a lot of the ball but you'd want to see more industry

Best - 6. Won a lot up front but Complained a lot when it didn't go his way. Seemed frustrated
Cms - 2. Poor shot, no effort to win balls in the air, horrible touch when a good one would have set him up with a decent chance in final stages
Tex 7 - typically classy display

Manager - 5. Subbing kaz was mad. Cog had to come off. Tex too late
Ref - 1. Consistently baffling decisions throughout and presided over one of the most bizarre displays I've seen in football. He gave a free kick, then marched out 8 yards for an Albion player (best?) to then March them out again to ten, to then March them out to eight again much to the traveling fans' disbelief. The resultant free kick obviously hit the small wall
Away fans - 7. Made as much noise as could reasonably be expected. About nine hundred odd
Home fans - 7. Met a couple on the way to the ground and chatting in car park before hand. Good natured bunch it seemed. Too many calls for handball perhaps
Stadium - 8. To my real surprise I really liked it. Don't usually enjoy these new stadiums but held the noise well and it shows what a shame it is that our stands have such a shallow bank.
City - 6. From what I saw it seemed quite nice, though in that weather anything would. Ate at shahjahan, which did the job

Stockdale 7 One of the few that was up for it
Bruno 5 Lazy passing but picked up 2nd half
Dunk 4 Shouldn't have allowed cross to be delivered for rotherhams goal
Halford 5 Did OK
Bennett 4 caught out for goal trying to dribble out of defence
Ince 4 Poor game
Stephens 3 continually gave ball away, set piece delivery awful
Kayal 7 lively, skilful...just shoot man!
Lua Lua 6 Bright in patches
Carayol 5 Rusty but has potential...quick, just take them on son
COG 5 had very little of the ball as we were so useless in the 1st half

Best 6 Good in air, offered more height...did OK
CMS 4 very little impact
Tex 5 wasn't on long enough to judge

Overall shockingly poor first, on top in second half but no confidence in front of goal, you're never going to score if you don't shoot! Players seemed to get on at each other and moaned at each other quite a lot

Can't disagree with most of this. Perhaps a bit harsh on Dunk - and also on CMS & Teixeira, who had little time to show anything much.

Stockdale 7 Mom, 2 important big saves
Bruno 5 slow getting forward but fairly solid otherwise
Dunk 3 sloppy passing, at fault for the goal, seems to have let speculation go to his head
Halford 5 a couple of bad moments but ok otherwise don't recall much of him
Bennett 4 - an outlet going forward but sloppy too often
LuaLua 5 - poor end product as usual but not helped after 3 good surging drives that took him past our whole team somehow
Carayol - 3 - looked like a man who hadn't played in a year
Ince - 5 - busy
Stephens 2 - absolute gubbins set pieces
O'Grady - 2 - absolutey terrible

Teixeira - on far too late
CMS - dead man walking
Best - 5.5 - our best player for teaching the ref to count...

Stephens = average 3.25 by people who were there.
Listening on the radio,I didn't realise he was playing until he got man of the match from Rotherham fans for giving the ball to them regularly

Again listening on the radio his delivery from corners/free kicks seemed bad...nothing I've read from people actually at the game has changed my mind

Stockers and Kayal with Halford scraping in were the only ones who scored ANY points imho. When will we learn that LuLu is not a starter as much as we love his impact substitutions? He won't like that but PLEASE prove me wrong. Dunk for the goal, Carayol, Best

I agree with these ratings and comments. It was one of those games I wished I hadn't bothered going to.

Still haven't got over how terrible we were. I wouldn't give any of them more than 3. Shocking.
