Just turned it on to watch 5 minutes, dire...nice to see the familiar site of football being played next to an athletics track, though.

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
Le Fondre looks good when hes not chasing balls around his ears, Im amazed he scores so many goals with there style of play, he hardly gets a kick.

Fell asleep at 1-0. Decided - when I woke up - to find out about trains to Sheffield for the Wendy game. There's a direct train and return I can get for 60 notes using my codgers card,so see you all there.(Unless the Demotwat Tory combo put the fares to unfairs in the meantime.)

just got back from the don

dire game, dire pitch, flair stadium. le fondre is a class above though, and when he inevitably gets sold this summer then rotherham are going to have a right struggle unless they can go out and sign ANOTHER 20 goal a season man

wonderful pitch invasion scenes at the end though, including a pat on the back for king ronnie

Not that we saw much evidence of Le Fondre's "class" tonight, as we sat there watching yet another hoof from the back or long throw totally bypass him!

if you can score 30 goals a season in a long ball team when you are just five foot tall, then you are a class act!

to be honest, it may not have been entertaining football, but it was an entertaining game. balls constantly being leathered out of play, pablo mills marrauding forward like the black johan cruyff from midfield, kevin ellison charging forward only to fall over an injured aldershot player, and then ultimately the mascot sprinting towards the advertising board and providing a gymnastics style flip over it

you just dont get that sort of quality at withdean

"get shot of it"

"We have given ourselves a real chance and if you are ever going to win promotion then it is going to Wembley and going up through the play-offs."

im not sure king ronnie knows what he is talking about

I think Le Fondre would do very well in Gus' style of play. As Scotty Mac says, 5 foot tall banging them in while playing long-ball demonstrates great positioning and goal-scoring ability. I wonder whether he is on our radar?
