Its quite funny

oss told Advertiser Sport following Saturday's 2-0 win at Aldershot Town that Allart's fitness was "nowhere near it should be" for the Eagles.

"He's gone back (to France) and we've decided not take him," he said.

"We only had him for a couple of days and it was only to see where his fitness is at, and I just feel it is nowhere near it should be for us.

"It was going to take him too long to get up to speed, so we're back on the lookout, and you saw today with our squad (at Aldershot), it needs to get bigger.

This is looking good. Signing RM would have been enough for Palace to be average next season, but if they sign some French nobody as their main striker I'm not giving up on the chance of them going down yet.

Ignore the excuses from Dougie about this guy not being fit enough , they haven't got a pot to piss in.

Vokes signing for Burnley for £500K today.
Palace could've afforded him and he fits their criteria (ie. ex-Brighton). - another one missed!

And Glen Murray eportedly interesting Millwall - oh dear

Meopham, Kent.
Looks like he has signed a new 3 year deal at Leeds.

Unlucky Palace

Unlucky us perhaps, if he was going to be part of a CMS deal to Leeds.

Or lucky us, if he wasn't coming here, but keeping him means their interest in CMS cools.

Seaside will probably be on later to tell us that he will still be signing for palace......., in 3 years time!

Wasn't his excuse that Leeds couldn't get a replacement, but now they're keeping him despite bringing in new players.

Where is Seaside when you need him

Shame that we couldn't persuade Leeds to complete the deal they had already agreed with us. Bid accepted, they changed their minds.

Not much more Palace could've done.
