The fact is she was employed to do a job and given a contract. If she was not competent to do the job then that's the fault of the person who appointed her. She still has a contract and is entitled to having it paid up if she is dismissed. She may have done a shit job - she may have been unable to do the job she was paid to do - but that's (oddly) not her fault.

when will someone in the fecking country take some responsibility for what they are paid to be responsible for
Maybe this will teach politicians, the media (and - although it's not our fault that we believe politicians and the media - the public) that the best way to deal with a real crisis isn't always to rush in and find a scapegoat to blame.
