Cheers Fergie for f***ing EVERYTHING UP.

BET Rooney gets crocked and is out for the World Cup.

I f***ing HATE that Scot **** and his wretched club.

If anything happens to Rooney will we be burning Ferguson effigies in the street?

I doubt he'll even make half time.
Sheer desperation move, because he's seen how CACK they are without Rooney. Disgraceful decision.

Sorry, but you don't recover from ankle ligament damage in 6 days.
Either they've bullshitted about it being ligament damage from the start, or he is being played whilst crocked.

We'll soon find out.

Two people were key to this decision - Rooney and Ferguson. Don't lay all the blame at Ferguson's door if Rooney does himself more damage.

He's been training for the last 3 days... It's not like it's a last minute decision?

There's no way Fergie would risk Rooney. He is fit to play, they've been playing down the injury all week and him saying "he's got no chance of playing tomorrow..." was all part of his mind games.

theres no way Fergie would risk Rooney and theres no way Rooney would risk himself with only a few games of the season left and the world cup around the corner.

Expect some robust challenges going in on him early on.
This is an accident waiting to happen.

either he'll score 3, get ridiculous messi comparisons from the press, and fergie will be called a genius

OR

he'll take a knock and go off after half an hour.

can only see it being the latter, sadly.

Again, he is completely fit to play. There is NO WAY he would play or be allowed to play if he wasn't.

Obviously biased lol.

Biased ? Not at all.
I don't hide my disain for manure, but my heart will be in my mouth at the prospect of Rooney seriously aggravating that ankle tonight. I hope to christ he comes through unscathed, but if he doesn't, and ends up getting a serious injury, then Ferguson will be the man who basically f***ed our World Cup.

Its worth remembering that a LOT of injuries occur when trying to protect an existing one that hasn't properly healed.

Ferguson:

It was NOT ligament damage. He has been training for the last 3 days.

Rooney is FINE. Relax, put your feet up and cheer on the only English team :clap2:

According to Fergie, he didn't suffer ligament damage.

Not according to Fergie on the box now.

I agree with the basic point you make though - it's not a last minute decision and it's sure to be one that everybody at United is more than happy with. It makes no sense to rush him back.
