He will probably reveal all the other difficult decisions in his life to a national newspaper. I am sure there are plenty. Or maybe he will keep them for his autobiography.

Rooney is in secret talks with Brighton manager Mark McGhee about joining the seagulls. Unconfirmed reports suggest that Rooney's agent, who goes by the name of Krispies, managed to convice Rooney that the Championship has superceeded the Premiership.

You heard it here first...

£25,000,000 would go a long way to building our stadium and 50K a week would give us a TEAM to challenge for promotion.

If ever I might have doubted it this confirms that I support a Cinderella club:cry:

I understand the Loyalty thing, BUT end of the day he is in a professional job in which to better his skills he HAS to move.

If I was in a job of which I portrayed potential, and that company weren't willing or able to develop my skills I wouldn't give two thoughts about moving!!

What EXACTLY is the difference here?

Brighton has more than its fair share of low class hookers. i'm sure that would be a good selling point for getting him signed up at the Albion:lolol:

I have just heard on SSN that he wants to play for a club that is going to play in Europe every season.

Going to Newcaslte is a bit pointless then ain't it because they are shite and won't qualify this season :jester:

Strangely I think going to Newcastle would be a better choice. He can learn from the master, Alan Shearer and evetually take his mantle.

Newcastle WILL qualify for Europe. They have for the last few seasons despite dodgy starts each time

Sir Alex has a great record for bringing young players through to maturity which may help Rooney in the long run & keep him on the rails. with Bobby Robson soon to go I can't see their being much stability for him up at Newcastle.
Even though it pains me to say it, if he can't come to the Albion then Man U is probably the next best choice.

But they have Bobby Robson as manager and he has definitely lost it . If his team talks are anything like his tv punditry I doubt anyone listens to a word he says :)
