Just seen Ronnie miss a black on purpose to hand Tian Pengfei the match on Eurosport. Unbelievable. If you get a chance to see it, it looks really bad leaving it over the pocket. He's f***ed.

Having just seen the video of it, he missed a black which was left over the pocket, for that chap to just roll in. Ok, so it's unsporting to not let him play it and win through potting the ball to decide the match. But it's hardly throwing his cue on the table, or rolling the balls around in frustration, as he's been known to in the past.

I have no idea if he threw the match for betting reasons but Ronnie would NEVER EVER slow roll that black, let alone actually miss it! You can tell from his reaction it was totally deliberate, there was no shock on his face whatsoever

Knowing him though there's probably nothing even sinister in it, he probably just couldn't be arsed to play in the next round
