[Football] Ronaldo to Man City?

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
£12 million for a 36 year old.

World completely mad.

Now, it goes without saying that I know nothing about football, and probably shouldn't believe everything I see on SSN, but apparently his team last season limped to a 5th place finish, with the PPP (pampered Portuguese ponce) spending much of the tail end of the season on the bench. It would be a marvellous spectacle if this turned out to be a huge, embarrassing flop!

101 goals in 134 games for Juve. Rubbish!

TalkSport was funny earlier. Jim White creaming himself about Ronaldo signing for Man City, and even with the reports he had left training Souness was having none of it, adamant Ronaldo wouldn’t go to City. Thought he was a bit clueless but obviously had an ideas

Genuinely though to see one of histories greatest ever players at the Amex will be special.

He got Rooney sent off.

Still a winker.

When he comes to The Amex, he shall be reminded.

glad he's gone to United not City. a bit of football would have died if he'd gone there.

Great signing for United obviously. Aside for his goal production that remains top level, he is not as dominant as a few years ago but will still improve their team a lot. Expect him more to play in the CF role rather than as a winger this time around.

CR7 joing the Prem again is a dream come true for me. 10 or 15 years ago I could only have dreamed of Brighton players kicking lumps out of him. Now it s actually gonna happen.

I hope March is rested for one of the games and that Ronaldo plays on that wing... because I'd love to see BDB eat him.

It's a fairytale CR back to Old Trafford. Their supporters are quite rightly absolutely delighted, it's good for Man U and good for the PL. The anticipation of his debut on Sunday is going to be something to behold over the weekend, I imagine it'll be all they talk about on Super Sunday before they beat Wolverhampton. It will be a privilege to see us to up against him.

I’m sure if Uncle Tony could stump up 12 million for 36 year old Ronaldo, he’d bite their hand off.

The publicity alone. We’d recoup that outlay in a week. 12 million is dirt cheap.
