No shit, Sherlock.

Anyone who wears a Palace scarf for me is a rat. So Roland does it better.

Stop defending Palace. Football without rivalries is nothing.

I’d expect better from a fellow Darren..
Wind your neck in ffs
Oh come on Daz.
I was at Plymouth for the 1-0 Zamora goal that clinched promotion, and at Carlisle a week later for the 0-0 that clinched the title. I know the score. This fanbase cannot be letting Palace scarfers in there away ends .. you know that deep down but you’ll disagree with me, because like Swansman, that’s the fashionable thing to do.

I’m on your side here.

I’ve been to the Amex 3/4 times as an away fan and the home atmosphere is like a morgue. No disrespect but it is.

But the pushback I’m getting from allowing Roland Rat into the away end I finally understand why.

Yes (in my opinion)

You can't live in the past. I qualify as a lifelong fan, had ST at Gillingham, done about 50 grounds, not exactly superfan status but pretty good. My personal situation means I haven't been away for a year, so I'd never expect to get a ticket ahead of someone who goes every week NOW. And rightly so.
Completely fair enough.

You’ve got my utmost respect and in my opinion if you never went to a Brighton game again you’d still deserve one over an Ecuadorian Palace scarf wearing fan. Let’s not forget he’ll drop Brighton as soon as the Ecuadorians leave.

Again.. appreciate the level headed response rather than the Lynch mob tactics most of the posters apply

I genuinely don’t think he’s Palace, that’s all. He’s a tourist who has become a bit Albion (until all our Ecuadorians have moved to Chelsea).

The points system has been designed by Tony Bloom to reward a mixture of past and current loyalty and it works very well. All tickets were checked for names v ID yesterday. If there was an issue with his ticket then whoever got him in will get a ban and it won’t be hard to work out the seating area from the video.

He’s a video maker first of course but unlike the Swede he’s going to games, raising our profile and joining in rather than sniping
Mr Guinness.
Despite the majority of this forum hating you, I don’t after a private conversation we had recently.
You’re Portslade, I’m Hangleton, let’s meet for a pint and we can put this one to bed.

Perhaps you should be on TrophylessCockStandChat bellyaching about South Korean fans taking tickets, as getting a rise from us doesn't seem to be working.

I know, we can only aspire to have the jumping madhouse that the TH stadium is on matchdays.
Not at all - it’s crap. I’d give my right arm to have our old ground back.

Stop being so defensive. That’s my job.

My point here is this:

An Ecuadorian who has supported Brighton 12 months shouldn’t get tickets over those who have supported Brighton there whole lives.

We can agree to disagree here.

No idea what that forum is - but I’d suggest this thread would be 2 pages rather than 4 if I hadn’t posted on it so that would suggest I am getting a rise. Why, I’m not so sure.

My point is simply that Brighton fans should get a Palace away ticket over a non-Brighton fan.

Yup. That kiddy was filming about 20 feet from us at FT and I thought "Who's that muppet?". Watch 30 seconds of his video, starting on Brighton beach, from yesterday. Didn't watch any more, as his voice and holding his little fluffy microphone in front of him instead of clipping it to his shirt were getting on my tits. I am 52. 😂
Is that Brighton beach in the video? I know some parts are sandy when the tide is out but looked more West Sussex to me.

Oh, perhaps you should have mentioned that earlier.

Why do you care so much if yourself support two teams and you're first and foremost a spurs fan? He seems to be very much accepted by the regular away fans judging by what I've seen of his vlogs - think you're on your own with this one
I support one team.

Can also confirm from speaking to my mates (who were there yesterday) they would rather have a Brighton fan next to them than a non-Brighton fan.

This is mental.

I think you're entitled to your opinion and, topical to this conversation, I respect it because I know you get off your arse and go to games!

Season ticket holder going to virtually every game home and away with likely enough points to get tickets…….difficult for the systems to identify him as not a fan isn’t it ?

Should I just pop in the Grenny and ask for “Darren the Spurs fan”?

 :moo:
