Surely points are allocated for each game not on distance or cost, but on demand.

The fact this game is 1,000 miles away and costs £500+ per person is irrelevant. Lots of people want to go hence it's 5 points.
Indeed, which makes it a continuing mystery as to how the Palace game was more than 5 points.

Probably not to further penalise those who can't afford the time / money or maybe physically unable to travel to go to such prestigious matches. Seems fair enough to me. It's not really about points, is it?
Agreed - it's the lower demand games in the northern exposure areas that need the 15s

https://www.asroma.com/en/tickets/.
The general sale starts at 4pm today.
I'm going to attempt to get one then, will let you know.
I have an Irish passport, but if they ask for Id (like they did on the Ajax app), I will see if I can use my Dutch driving licence first.
As we can get fined for not having an Id here, I assume you have a licence or what ever the other valid id is (apart from passport that is).
If possible, I'm aiming at Monte Mario Nord as it is close to the away fans, and I vaguely recall, someone somewhere on some thread mentioned that Monte Mario is more civilised, for interlopers.

refreshed about 20 seconds after 4 ... apparently there are some people who also what to go (they could also be the ticket scouting bots)

[Edit: deleted picture in case it can identify me, paranoia, but I dont want to be blocked from going in ... long story short, there are 5669 people ahead of me in the queue and they expect it to take more than an hour to even get to the site]

Queuing and "supposed" demand is a massive thing in Europe and even more so in Italy. In club's they'll keep a queue outside (sometimes for hours) even though there is space inside.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if your queue is actually about 20 people 😂
Especially as Italians don't buy tickets for anything until the day of/before

All gone! I don't know what time others went for it but I was on at 3 on the dot and sold out.

I'm half relieved as I really can't afford it and the family holiday at Easter so those itchy trigger fingers fans have saved me a tortuous decision.

Keep refreshing, more will pop up as people's baskets empty.

Not yet, I think a decent little chunk will appear over the next hour as baskets empty. I had queue position 560 on one device and when that got in there were still 40 in play. I think most who wanted one in this band will get one in the end.
Indeed. I had one in a basket for @Simster that I have just let go, as someone else who was trying got him one first. Will be a few others like that in the next few minutes, I'd imagine
