I will agree with you. I used to wear my Seagulls shirt around town and never got any stick. I knew a few season ticket holders and they were all decent.

I also enjoyed Hartlepool. They seemed a decent bunch up there.

Donny & Wrexham it goes without saying.

From previous experience, Torquay were fantastic when we last went there & from National Falmer Day, Chester fans were bloody marvellous.

Borussia Dortmund. I went to Germany to see them play Real Madrid in the champions league last season, 1-1 it finished. when madrid scored a few people in our block started cheering and none of the home fans laid into them!

I have met a few Southern Trotter exiles who feel alone being miles away from their home town and have supported their team all their lifes, they are a friendly bunch. I know a young friendly female supporter who has supported them since they were in the old Div 4 in the late 80's and used to be a regular at both Burnden Park and the Reebok before going to uni and moving down South.

She hopes that we get Falmer and will be watching us on Sky and hoping we win the playoffs. What do you think of them Yorkie and other people?

Back to Wrexham, who started this particular love-in.

Congratulations to them on their 4-1 victory over Rhyl in the FAW Premier Cup Final tonight. I watched it on BBC2 Wales. They were still outsung by the opposition, though.

Rhyl put up a much better show than they did when they won the Welsh Cup final against TNS on Sunday, but Wrexham looked liked they wanted it tonight. Let's hope Gutterman (who really does look like a penguin) puts the £100,000 prize money to good use - although I'm not holding my breath.

Memo to self ... I must stop watching Welsh football

:)

:)

Paying the players wages would be a good start. I've read their fanzine. Four times this season their wages have been late.

Raith Rovers.

Also Brechin City. A mate of my brothers in Brighton used to work on the railways and one Saturday afternoon decided to go there to see a game as it was the nearest ground to him. Being a compulsive gambler and a flash git he bought £10 worth of raffle tickets for the half-time prize draw and promptly won first prize in the draw - a cake baked by the Chairman's wife!
