Both my Dad and I. I’m now a year older than my Dad was then.

I’m not fully confident we can repeat this in another 36 years’ time

Not there in 83 as my six year old self had no authority to dictate attendance but clearly remember being in the back seat of the car with my siblings whilst my older brother and dad roared the team on.

There at the goldstone (first game was weirdly the England b match when tony Adams scored against Italy).

There at the withdean with my dearly departed brother (who was a die hard despite being blind)

There in Cardiff with the whole family.

There working with the club to help promote and sell season tickets and 1901 debentures at the Amex.

There at lancing watching my nephew in the academy.

No claim to masses of away games or the kudos of many on here....but....

There tomorrow at wembley.

Don’t care if semi finals at Wembley devalue the occasion.

Don’t care about current form

Don’t care if (as expected) we lose

These are golden days and I’m gonna sing from first to last.

Come on the Albion!

There in 83, working tomorrow. Kick off is the start of the only two hours of the entire f*cking year that I can't make any time to watch.

Yes and yes, unfortunately my parents didn't live to see us this time (they did get to Cardiff) but my son will be there with me.
