Big Roland is back from his loan at Rochdale - got a couple of starts and a run off the bench but no goals. Will have done him no harm at all ................... Maybe feature on the bench against Wrexham?

Why? Surely we need to get our first choice strikers back into the swing of scoring goals.

Why? well, i also think it is just as important to bring in players that would not normally get a chance, (and as JFC proved on Saturday) this is equally important in their development.

Gives Gus the chance to assess whether Bergkamp has come back from Rochdale a better player and is now more skilful than BDB.

It is obviously only an opinion, but I think that considering our recent form and lack of goals or even shots at goal, excluding Soutrhampton, it is of paramount importance to get the strikers back scoring or at least attempting to score rather than bring in somebody who probably will not figure in the league this season and has time on his hands.

Last year we messed about for cup games and it seemed to disrupt the team. I'd like to carry on with what we had against Saints. That was already a side with fringe players and, with injuries/suspensions, more will get the chance anyway.

I wouldn't mind seening a few fringe players on the bench though and hopefully getting some time. Is it still just 5 subs for the FA Cup?

Well, you could say it is as important to give players like CMS especially a rest as he has been playing non stop inc internationals and this may be adding to his lack of goals and sharpness.

Totally agree. Barnes needs to start as he missed the last 3 games and hopefully Hoskins is available to play. I would play a full strength attack and try and bring CMS off after 60 mins if we are winning. We need to play a strong team as possible and i'm sure Gus will.

Our back line is likely to be largely non first team players. I don't think we should be messing with the rest of the team. Having said that, I wouldn't want to see Buckley or KLL do a hamstring, and CMS needs a rest.

I had a tear in one of my knee ligaments against derby. It is normally an 8 week rehabilitation and I'm 5 weeks tomorrow. It is feeling good

I would say that in some ways this is right but considering our loss of so many players to injury and suspension this would be a good move to at least give some younger ones half a match at least...just 3 or 4 to mix in with the 1st teamers

I'm sure Leeds' message board can give Billy Paynter a similar build up....
