He played nearly 60 games for Excelsior in the Eredivisie in Holland, which much be better than/close to the same standard as the Championship.

Sort of. Excelsior is Feyenoord's feeder club, basically their under-21's

I saw Excelsior versus FC Twente last season and the quality was pretty poor, would say lower Championship possibly.

What a useless thread. We did this a couple of weeks ago and it was confirmed that he was injured (when Barker was on the bench and not Toby or Roland). Rolands in the team picture so Gus must see him as part of the team.
