Must admit I was concerned when I saw the line up today. When KA wasn't in the squad, I knew he had to be injured.

Have to say that RI is definitely moving in the right direction. He is not up there with Bridcutt yet (and I would be surprised if anyone seriously thinks he is) but he is an exceptionally promising prospect.

Certainly has a lot of potential and what is exciting to see he is doing it in the Championship in a very difficult position. Play as a winger or a fullback and you can ease your way through the early games as you get used to the tempo and actually feel like you belong. Ince looks like he belongs already and he is only going to get better...a lot better. That is why there is an excitement about him.

I'm not sure comparing Ince to Bridcutt necessarily works as Ince looks much more of a box-to-box midfielder compared to Bridcutt's holding role. Whenever Ince wins the ball his first instinct is often to drive forward with it if he can whereas Bridcutt will win it then neatly give it to one of the back five who is in space.

Ince is very much a dimaond in the rough but his style is much more that of a Patrick Viera than a Liam Bridcutt. A midfield trio of Bridcutt, Ince and Agustien could be a very dominant trio for us

He does seem to have a very Bridcuttesque way of looking like he's going to lose the ball, only to somehow recover it, ghost past one or two players and then offload it. A couple of dodgy touches at times, but it'll easily come with experience. The main thing for me was that he knows what to do with the ball, got a very intelligent footballing head on him.

Was very impressed, good touch for such a big lad. Good positioning, tidy simple passing and big presence in the middle of the park just barging players off the ball with ease. Depending on how much he plays this season he will develop into a very decent player.

If you watch him he does have really good ball control and a very good range of passes, he was awesome today and will help when we play against some of the more physical teams in this league where we have struggled in the middle. It seems pointless Chelsea having a youth team if they let the likes of Ince and Bridcutt slip through the net but there loss is our gain.

Apart from the fact that Ince, Bridcutt and Agustein would make an awesome midfield, I can't believe that everyone has missed the humorous possibilities of having Ince a foot taller than Bridcutt and Agustein being as wide as Bridcutt is high.

Saw Ince for the first time yesterday. Thought he was stunningly good. Huge physical presence, great ball skills and really cool-headed and intelligent. I think we might have found a world class talent. Of course he's not as safe as Bridcutt yet but on the basis that in football a good bigun is better than a good littleun he's got real prospects.

Key question for me is what we should do if Bridders stays and when everyone is fit. How would we fit Bridders and Ince together?

I'm not convinced by Agustein yet. I saw him at Leeds (when i thought he was woeful) and again yesterday. He was obviously fitter yesterday and a lot better. However he seems slow and doesn't move around enough. On the ball he looks arrogant and makes mistakes. I guess I'm missing something because others seem to like him and I'm sure he will improve as his fitness improves.

Anyone else think Buckley and Ulloa were developing a great partnership yesterday?

I was impressed by him and, when he was in close up on the big screen, he looked well scary! I think every team needs at least one scary player. I note from the fount of all that is true (Wikipedia) that Eric Young is his uncle and that he is now an accountant working in the construction industry (Eric Young that is).

I think what I liked most was just how much ground Ince covered. He was everywhere- left, right, central, dropping back when needed. And the fact that he was always making himself available to receive the ball. That's something that young players don't always do until they feel confident and secure enough to demand it. Ince wanted the ball all the time, and nine times out of ten used it effectively when he did get it.

Having seen (for example) Jonny Williams at Palace & Will Hughes of Derby control their teams' midfields at a young age, I am really quite hopeful that we may have picked up a little (well, big) gem in Ince.

Fully deserves to hold on to his place for the next game IMHO.

Needs to improve in the air. For such a big lad no one should get near him in the middle of the park.

Does well with the ball on the deck, looks like he has it in him to become a good player.
