We should not think that these players can't play in the first team sooner than later if they are good enough get them in. Twenty old these days?

Would like to think that if we fade away and have no chance of the play off, a few of them will get a chance in the remaining games. Having said that, they were'nt given much of a chance last year when we were in that position.

18 month contract about right for now. At 6'4" and being a CB/DM he'll hopefully become a CB here who can play out from the back. Fingers crossed he can progress as can the Icelandic CM and the East European LB who are both youth internationals for their nation.

Development squad coach Luke Williams added, “Rohan has been with Chelsea for over ten years and you don’t stay at a club like that unless you have real quality. We hope he can use that quality here and learn the Brighton way of playing to build a career at this club.

“It’s not that common in England that you find a centre-back who is over six foot tall and comfortable with the ball at their feet. Rohan is just that, and for the way we play at Brighton, that’s a very important quality as we build possession from the back.”

Lets hope we have a real prospect on our hands.

Great that we are signing these developement squad players - would like to see some of them get at least a bit of bench time especially now back with 7 subs

Are the developement squad playing at a high enough level - shouldnt we be pushing to get into the new under 21 league ?

I believe they will start playing more 'higher profile' games when the training facilities are built

Did it straight after that post:)

Did you add an assist for CMS too? :) (Unless it wasn't him, the radio commentary can be quite confusing)
