How was the none Floyd stuff, bloody depressing dirge I'll bet ? Mind you apart from a couple of tracks the Wall had the same effect on me, pretty sure that was nearly 100% Waters with very little input from the others?

Leaving Beirut was quite powerful although that was as much to do with the stage show.

Meddle always seems to be missing on threads like this, well I liked it.

My mate saw Waters in Auckland and said it was a spectacular performance, the best he has seen. I would like to see it myself but as with anything Pink Floyd related it is a bit overpriced.

i went saturday. 30 quid a bit overpriced?
for a show lasting near 3 hours and 10 very competent band members it was good value
even in that enormous barn with two big screens and a massive backdrop for closeups, from the back of the hall you felt the enthusiasm the whole band had for the performance.




and yes.that lazer pyramid was stunning.probably the best lighting effect i have ever seen.

If you want overpriced Floyd stuff then look at the price for the CD single of Waters' "To Kill the Child/Leaving Beirut"
