Number 90 for Plymouth Argylle reported to have collapsed at the top of a mountain in Scotland.

I hope I would be able to climb mountains when I am ninety?

Hill walking claims another top Labour Politician. John Smith and now Robin Cook.
Safer to remain a couch potato.

Respect your opinion but beg to differ - I thought the gezzer was a weazle both in looks and deeds (esp while shadow health minister) - his private life was a bit foxy too, marrying his mistress Gaynor Regan, hmmmmm

I was and am pro war but I had the upmost respect for him and his stance. He stood up for what he believed and actually 'put his money where his mouth' was.

As boring as it sounds he was a great public speaker and some of the trouncing he dished out to the tories in his time were top draw stuff.

RIP Robin.

The most intelligent MP in the House of Commons is gone. RIP. The world will be a lesser place without him.
