If we'd drawn away to Arsenal and Newcastle we'd have thought they were two great results. As it is we've got one more point, so just rejoice!
I was thinking the same thing, our goal difference has remained the same after those 2 tricky away fixtures. So it’s as if we’d drawn them both with an extra point awarded for style.

RDZ is spot on about the mentality of players. The drop off in performance when playing twice a week is insane. He is rightly questioning are our top players really ready to move to a big club with pressures to perform at the highest level twice a week. You can’t be tired playing for Liverpool/Man City or whoever.
Henderson played was it over 60 games the year they won the CL? What's the most anyone has played for us this season? 40 odd? 45 maybe.
RDZ is and has been saying since January we need more players and more experience. The three (almost) signings so far suggest the board are backing him which is good because he's a bit too honest sometimes and if we go into next season as thin he's clearly going to start getting a bit grouchy.

Whilst agree the squad is light at the moment with injuries it doesn’t explain the drop off from key players the spine of the team when playing twice a week. Mitoma couldn’t trap a bag of sand, Gross couldn’t find a pass and Dunk wasn’t much better.
We made some changes although it really shouldn’t make that much dramatic difference we looked like a side struggling in the league not one fighting for a top six finish.

Without March on the right, the defenders can concentrate more on doubling up on Mitoma.

Enciso had his best game for us one the left against Wolves, baffled he’s never played there since, even against Newcastle when Mitoma was clearly struggling he could of subbed him for Enciso earlier.

I am of an age where I remember being taken to the Goldstone as a boy. Went there with my Grandfather many times. Grew up a bit, went many more times with mates, the North Stand, the bogs at the rear (abysmal). Now here we are, trying to obtain a Europa league place. My Grandfather, born 1894 just wouldn't believe it!

I wish I could shake the 'if I wanted an easy life' comment.

Had he seen out 22/23, we'd have had the same season as Brentford and we would have been happy with that.

The same players, completely different team, completely different mindset and a completely different outlook - Roberto is a whole new beast.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you....

.... Chelsea.
