Just had a call from my son that apparently came from somebody who works at the club, I dont know in what capacity, that we are allegedly trying to bring in Robert Snodgras from Leeds. I cant see why he would leave them for us but he would be the ideal type of goal scoring midfield man. Also still trying to persuade Harper to come back not sure that I agree with that one.

Snodgrass would be great but cant see why he would come here or why Leeds would let him go.

If it turns out there's something in it - fair play.

Looking at the facts though - he's valued at millions, which we've said we won't be spending.
He's a wide man, which is probably the only area we don't need to strengthen.
Why would he turn down Prem offers to come here?
Why would Leeds sell to us?
Apart from all that - great.

We have a better squad than Leeds and with the Vamp in charge there progress will always be constrained. Also Grayson is hanging on by a thread due to Bates unrealistic expectations.

They are certainly much bigger than us but I think we are better in footballing terms if we had a fully fit squad.

I still dont see this happening though.

I agree. But it doesn't look as though we're ever going to have a fully fit squad at this rate!
