Sanchez better pray Chelsea buy a first team starting goalie or he's fooked. the abuse maupay is getting at the moment will seem like child's play compared to what Sanchez will receive if this continues.

He's just not mentally strong enough for a big club. It's going to be a very painful watch if this continues. Because the more and more the pressure builds up the worse he will play.

Out of interest, how many of today's goals were 'Kepa would have saved that'? Three howlers, was it?

Imho Sanchez was a significant step up on Ryan, but there are flaws to his game and not just passing, he’s a PL goalie but a million miles away from Ederson, Alisson or Coutois.
He’s a perfectly adequate mid-table PL keeper. When we were a mid-table team he was fine, but when the team improved and stepped up, he got left behind.

But as per my post, he is a lot younger than those mentioned, and is still learning.

The fact he is in the Spain squad at such a young age was impressive in itself. He clearly missed Roberts when he left.

I don’t disagree re Chelsea, but think he’s probably the best they have currently, and will only continue to improve.
That manager has left now though doubt he will be called up anytime soon.

Being number 1 at Chelsea until they inevitably find a better keeper could totally ruin his career.

Why? He's a good GK, and will have a perfectly decent career. Obviously the arrival of de Zerbi and Ricard Segarra wasn't good news for him - it is clear there were fundamental differences between what they wanted and his ideas on goal-keeping built up over the last ten years at the club - but he's away from that now, in a new - albeit very unforgiving - environment.
I dare say some entitled Chelsea fans are very outraged at having to accept a GK who didn't cost enough, hasn't won the PL or any European competitions and has only played for '(#teamslike) Brighton FFS' ....................... but that's their problem.

What are you basing that on?

de la Fuente called Sanchez up to the first squad he picked in March this year. He’s picked one more squad since then for the National League Finals and Sanchez wasn’t picked for that which is understandable as by then Sanchez hadn’t played for several weeks. If he continues to start for Chelsea coupled with the fact that Raya is now at Arsenal and far from guaranteed to be playing then Sanchez is bound to be in the picture for a call up at the very least. To suggest otherwise is ridiculous.

He is on a 6 year deal as well? FML
By Chelsea’s standards he got short -changed there. Idiots.

Happy to see any ex-Albion employee who went to Chelsea have a horrible time.
They all caved in to their greed, rather than staying at one of the most exciting up-and-coming clubs in European football. The exception is Colwill , who was never our permanent employee, and appeared to be open to moving here.
Caicedo doesn’t deserve Albion fans’ good will. He packed up his locker and flounced off.

On the other hand, he’s still young, he’s got a 6 year contract on very decent money. He can bide his time for a couple of years, go on loan to a top half team in Spain, and still have a very decent career earning bucket loads of cash.
Still early days though!

Fans talk about Premier League players/managers having ruined their careers etc . It probably feels bad when they are dropped or ignored By a manager or booed.
When they whinge about their hardships in their books I often wonder if they’re talking it up, because they are all winners really - multi millionaires and all the trappings.
Don’t give me all that “money isn’t everything / doesn’t but happiness ” nonsense - no person living in poverty ever said that.

Chelsea fans are hilarious.

The only goal out of the 4 he’s conceded that I would say he could have done better with was the Liverpool one, he was slightly flat footed there, people saying he should have saved that Antonio shot are delusional.

So easy to blame a goalkeeper, how about the defence allowing a free header from a corner, 2 of your defenders being physically dominated by Antonio and your 115m signing hacking a player down in the box.

Unfrotaunteky these players joining Chelsea are now finding out what a truly toxic fan base is like, Caicedo hasn’t played in two months and their fans are already considering he could be a ‘waste of money’

This guy is soooo cringeworthy. He loves posting pics with all his big name BEST mates like Andy robertson , 'chilly' , and Reece James.

He also drives a horrendous lambo.

The combination of the above would suggest , somewhat surprisingly, that he has a very small willy.
I’d settle for a Lamborghini and a small willy
