Mate of mine from Fremantle said he was absolute pants for PG - to be honest this has all the makings of a publicity stunt. Certainly not going to worry overmuch that we "missed" the chance to sign him.

To be fair to Robbie Fowler, he was used as a central midfield playmaker (think David Beckham) rather than as a striker at Perth Glory.
