Very early days but:

A) This is why I wasn't overly fussed with GP's departure and didn't really care for all the pantomime that went with it.

B) Someone should show that piece to Graeme Sourness.

I think that was aimed at fans of other teams, we know what De Zerbi is doing. A nice positive article none the less.

Any plaudits in the media after a 4-1 win are pretty shallow, when the narrative after a 0-0 against Forest, was same old Brighton.

However, I like what RDZ is doing.
It feels like the best way forward, it's certainly a lot more entertaining and I hope it works.

but I know full well that I will feel very differently about it when Sanchez/Webster/Veltman delete as appropriate mis-hit a pass straight to Zaha and he smacks it into an open net for the winner.

Its a fine piece , full of insight about coaching. And its far more reflective of how the "media" really analyse and report on Brighton than the tired old trope frequently trotted out on here that they just don't understand "us" or in fact any club outside the top 6.
Impossible, women can’t understand football can they ? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I agree that it's a good article overall, but I raised my eyebrows at this line:

It is quite simple to spot the flaws in a struggling side and make them better, but to improve a good side can be much harder.

I understand what she's getting at, but I think a subeditor needed to work on that line. It's just not true that making a struggling side better is "simple".

Potter moaning he never had an Amex atmosphere like last Saturday well Mr Potter your team hardly ever won at home. The build up play was often slow and ponderous with an end result of not putting the ball in the net from two yards out.
RDZ has bags of touch line energy the team and supporters will respond to it, we will get louder and the team will play better really looking forward to games ahead.

Early days, of course, but that appears to be a big difference between the two. Potter seemed to focus his empathy internally within the club, players responded well and we, as fans, benefited indirectly. RDZ wears his heart on his sleeve which will engage supporters much more directly.

I disagree. If my bike doesn't get me to the pub comfortably because of a slow puncture, it is easy to identify the problem and fix it. If I'm Jason Kenny and want to make my competition bike a bit faster, it's much more of a challenge.

It's a flattering piece but the example of De Zerbi using Gross at RB being a wild "shift of gears" shows the lack of knowledge of the team in the previous 12 months.
