I like them - much more pleasing to the eye when a goal is scored than those really tight nets where the ball just bounces out. Can we have them at the Amex?

I like the check design of the nets at yeovil and some other clubs (Blackburn?) especially with the smaller mesh. Blue & white for us, of course.

Those white stansions and baggy white net at The Goldstone were a huge part of my youth as I tried to replicate them in the back garden on a daily basis!!!

...and as a youth I could tell pretty much any team from the top division from their goal nets alone... Liverpool - red stansions, red net, Arsenal green stansions, white net etc..!

Now they are all the same.

Actually, why not have a wall of JELLY instead of a net? Make it some really sticky gunk that holds the ball as soon as contact is made.

I would LOVE to see that, with the ball conspicuously stuck right there in the goal like a mouse on a sticky-trap.
