"Wayne Kramer, the guitarist who co-created MC5 – one of the rawest, most influential and politically engaged bands in US history – has died aged 75."

Would love to have seen them live but they split up when I was 9.

KOTJ was one of the songs that introduced me to Punk Rock as a young teenager.

One of the most influential bands coming out of the most wonderful period for music. I haven't listened to enough MC5 in my life, but I've heard enough to know of the amazing guitar sound from WK.

No need to apologise, but being able to hear MC5 and KOTJ for the first time is an envious position to be in.
