The lap of her in the van has always stuck in my mind. Not sure why. No age at all.

Sad news as she was young.
Undoubtedly a talented racing driver but I really liked that she always seemed fun, and happy, and smiley.

Like many on this thread the first time I saw Sabine was when she drove the absolute nuts off that van around the Nurburgring on Top Gear, it was no surprise when she eventually turned up some time later as a co-presenter on the show itself.

Funny, beautiful, passionate and an amazingly talented racing driver, sadly taken from us far too young...RIP Sabine

That made me laugh . . . . reminds me of putting a spare seat in my car and testing with passengers at Goodwood. got to the end of the Lavant straight, doing about 115 and my mate strapped in, stamped on the footell/bulkhead about 100m before the late braking point. I think he was surprised we made it round Woodcote corner.

I'm sure Sabine had plenty of passenger seats to clean over the years.
