That's awful news to wake up to. I'm stunned.

Oh how awful. RIP. My thoughts are with his family and also with the bowler, who must also be devastated. The whole cricketing world will be in shock after this. Terrible

Awful news. RIP Fella

I hope they now review the design of the helmets to try and make it safer.

They had an interview with a company yesterday who have done just that. Unfortunately it came too late

RIP To a great cricketer. Really feel for the bowler, Abbott, who must be having a terrible time

Quite often the case but at least that's something.

Very sad - he spent some time playing at Worcester recently.
As a cricket coach this makes very tough news for me to motivate our younger players [u15 / u17 county lads].
Sean Abbott was a good mate of Phil and he must be absolutely distraught.
RIP

Very sad news RIP - I fell for his family and friends, but also for the guy who bowled that ball - he will need a lot of help to get through this.
