Been issued a winding up order by the High Court

I imagine most people here think of this when they think of Hereford

There but for the grace of God (and a fair few others) go the Albion.

Very sad to hear this.

That Hereford match will live long in the memory for sure. It's one of those games where if everyone was there who says they were there the ground would have been sold out ten times over :)

Hopefully they will find a way to survive this latest setback

In a pile of football shirts
Hereford have been shafted by a succession of bad owners, alleged money men and saviours. I imagine the FA have lived up to their acronym.

Tragic to see them go but some seriously underhand dealings in the Bellotti/Archer mould make it inevitable :nono:

Sad, last week I heard the latest potential owner saying how money is in place and going to court was a "technical issue " that had already been overcome yet they just had to go through the process. I thought then "Mnnnn " Sad to see them go but they may rise again in some other form.

Sad for the Hereford fans (and the people who worked at the club). My memory of the place is of Tommy Frazer momentarily turning into Ronaldo/Pele/Messi all in one!!

So true, I clearly remember how I felt at half time at Hereford, who knows how things would have gone if they'd stayed up and we'd gone down.

I don't imagine, for one minute, we'd currently be playing Championship football, sat in a 30,000 seater stadium etc, etc, etc.

In a parallel universe we have just been wound up. Suddenly, Div 1 does not seem so bad.

A sad day and one which puts our current situation very much in perspective.

There but for the grace of Robbie Reinelt...

True, without doubt the most mental moment of my Albion following history.

This.
Our beloved goldstone was being bulldozed and we needed a point to stay in existence.
We were one nil down at HT and were 45 minutes away from extinction with the rest being history.
The post match piss up in Newbury will live with me forever.

Thankful to Steve Gritt that it wasn't us, sorry to hear the news about Hereford. A real shame when that happens to a club. Hopefully they will be resurrected.
