Having 'RIP' in the thread title does that rather effectively. You don't have to respond if you've no idea who the deceased is - or was - and there's a very good 'ignore thread' function if you're that bothered.

Were you drunk when you wrote this mate? Might be a good idea to delete this thread, it’s in very poor taste and quite disappointing as I generally enjoy your posts.

It seems angry and hateful, which I’m sure isn’t who you are, so I’d probably just delete it and move on with a lesson learnt about empathy.
