I'm another one who lived at Sherry's and this was the top tune.

Kenny Lyn was the main DJ although I remember more Martin Peters.

Kenny Lyn, that was him...
Anybody remember the girl who danced every week to 'I feel love'
wearing a pleated skirt? I say danced, but she spun for the whole tune whilst we jostled for the best position to watch the skirt rise haha...memories... sad to hear of Summers passing...wasnt a huge fan, but she was in my life every saturday night for a while...

yes, i think I remember her! had fair, brownish hair, a bit wavey and she certainly was light on her feet.

Strange the things you remeber!

Here, there and everywhere
She was also the singer of some of the worst lyrics in pop history....
Someone left the cake out in the rain
I don’t think that I can take it
‘Cause it took so long to bake it
And I’ll never have that recipe again
Oh, no!

Donna Summer didn't write MacArthur Park, she covered it 10 years after Richard Harris had the hit.

Worthing
You get all upset about someone daring to criticize your hero's lyrics. But, laughing when somebody wishes Sir Cliff was dead is just fine. What a self centred hypocritical little shit you are!.

Spot on.

Couldn't have said it better myself. :sheep:
