Went to the premier of this at the Scala, when I was a gay young thing about town.

Twin Peaks changed my perception of TV. It remains my absolute favourite programme. I really liked how he changed it in the return 25 years later. I loved the weird inventiveness of Blue Velvet ( Dennis Hopper's finest hour), Mulholland Drive (Don't go out there), Lost Highway and of course Eraserhead. He did a colloboration with a few artists on an album i think was called "Long Dark Night of the Soul" that i enjoyed. His explanation of transcendental meditation helped me consider and try it for myself and gain just a little inner peace, when i needed it.
RIP you wonderful man.

I have a couple of his albums via a subscription I have with his record label Sacred Bones. They also sent me a packet of his branded coffee beans some time back.

I’ll give my records a spin tomorrow

RIP

Watched this very drunk and stoned, then went back to my grandparents where I was staying.
My grandma had left dinner in the microwave - a tiny chicken in the middle of the plate with a thick gravy. I was suitably freaked out.
When I was at college in Newham in the late 80s David Lynch films were one of our regulars for a night in.
