One classy player for City and England

A key member of their side that won the League and the Cup and, by all accounts, a decent bloke too

There'll be tears in the Bell End tonight

Wish we'd had VAR in 1970 quarter final. That was a penalty and Beckenbauer knew it too.

If City had him for that 76-77 season they would have got the extra point they needed.

RIP. Top player.

Many say injury robbed English football of a potential world class player.

You wonder what he’d be worth in today’s market?

RIP.

Echo all of the above. He was a seriously good player by any standards.

Arguably Citeh's finest, certainly before the modern era and Aguero / Kompany / D Silva.

Oh for **** sake.

Here we go again.

I watched the BBC News of the year episodes and the one showing the amount of celebs and sportspeople that had passed last year. It was incredible

I loved watching Colin bell. Really decent player

I lived in Manchester in the early 60s.
Watched him from the Kippax in 65/66.
Met up with him at the Etihad when we played them in 2019
Top class player, top class man.

Colin bell was my earliest sporting hero a wounderful midfielder who could have been one of the all time greats but for injury at a time when a knee injury almost always ended careers, 74 is only a bit older than me I am starting find my peer group are starting to fall of their perch at an ever increasing rate......bugger RIP Colin prayers and thoughts to your family and friends

As I really cant be arsed to check before I make a crass and nasty comment (according to some posters on here) is Mr Colin Bell actually dead or would it be more acceptable to make an acceptable but inappropriate joke about it as it doesn't involve the older straight generations mastubation fantasies?...

Asking for a friend.
