Great character actor and, of course, brilliant in the Rocky movies. A former boxer himself. RIP

Aside from Rocky, I remember him in The Amityville Horror II. A surprisingly good prequel to a bog standard horror film.

Ahh, only ever really remember him from Rocky films but he was great in those.

Was just calculating how old he was in the first Rocky. Because he always struck me as being about 60 yrs old at least. 37!

The name of his trucking company seen on the side of his truck was "Paulie Trucking" which was a nod to his character in the Rocky movies.
