RIP to a talented sportsman.

Totally irrelevant, but used to drink with a guy who told me many tales of Mr Goram. Was a hit with the ladies apparently.

Diagnosed with cancer and gone within 6 months. Apparently declined chemo, having seen what his ex-wife went through with it last year.

Utterly tragic.

Didn’t the the sweaties sing ‘You’re not English Anymore’ to him? A legend and wonderful to watch when he was on form.

Didn't get much sympathy from the other side of Glasgow due to his support of loyalist terrorist groups.

Pea brained sectarianism should be condemned to the past though.

Gave one of the finest goalkeeping performances I have ever seen, v us one evening at the goldstone when his was a youngster at Oldham.

Talking about this to Kilo last night at a Wedding, it was a Friday night in 1984/85 season, for some bizarre reason we played at the Goldstone before The Grand National.

Goram would have been 20 years old and to this day it remains one of the greatest visiting Goalkeeping performances in my time watch8ng the Albion.

RIP.

Another one taken too early.
