Justy knew something like this would happen. We always have injuries to our key players - Rooney / Beckham in yrs gone by. The gods are so against us - bollox. As i said in another thread, we do have a lot of bad luck.

Saying that if King's knee holds up he's a very good replacement.

Concentration span of a 4 year old.

King is a ready made replacement.

King is ideal and left sided. At least it happened before the World Cup when we can replace him.

Massive loss! King is decent, but not in the same class as Rio. The worrying thing is King is unlikely to last the tournament, so its Upson or Carragher at some stage. Bad times.

On current form/given Rio's fitness problems this season, King is just as good. Bad for the squad though.
